Working it Out Together

CLF has set the foundation for a social self-help revolution! To accompany the holistic healthy living reality series aimed at Canadian Aboriginal people, Working It Out Together, CLF has built an online community and activity-tracking utility that is enriched with fun and inspiring visualization components.

Working it Out Together, produced by Montreal's Rezolution Pictures and hosted by Olympian Waneek Horn-Miller, follows the personal journeys of several aboriginal-Canadians, as they work toward achieving their physical, dietary, mental and social health goals. Working it Out Together airs this fall on APTN in both English and Mohawk languages.

Thanks to participation from the Canadian Media Fund, the social community allows users to track and share their progress as they complete levelled challenges designed to inspire change and promote a complete healthy lifestyle. As users complete challenges, their progress will come to life in their virtual garden - a visual profile of activity completed on the site rendered in original native-inspired artwork. The more challenges you complete, the more animals, trees, weather and water you'll see in your garden and the more you'll have to share with friends! The site also makes use of Facebook Connect to enable easy sharing, allowing users to share their gardens and inspire their friends.

In addition to social and visualization modules, website users will find many original informative and instructional videos hosted by experts from the TV series. The site also features a directory of businesses whose services may help users on their journeys toward balance and wellness.
